I love prompts like this because they’re just so vague. Do I have limitations? What happens if I die in the swapped body? When you say “day”, do you mean the whole 24 hours or just sunrise to sunset? Could I extend the swapped period by doing everything from a plane flying east?
Anyway. For the sake of simplicity, lets call it a 24 hour body swap. Midnight to midnight, rotation of the earth notwithstanding. I would swap with Jeff Bezos.
The first thing I would do is use my newfound reach to purchase large swaths of dilapidated urban land and set up projects for rebuilding high quality apartments, available for PURCHASE not rent. Let’s see how fast my high-paid lawyers can get those contracts written up and distributed. Then, I’d donate a bunch of money-sink art I know he has to museums, and make sure I’ve written up contracts that say he can’t take those back either.
After the donating and setting up real estate as best I can, I’ll take to his superyacht and spend the rest of my day on the deck of the boat in the sun with his laptop, credit card, and as many tabs of charity websites I can find. You know, GoFundMe and the like. I can spend the rest of my day drinking mimosas and fully funding every medical procedure, emergency vet bills, fire recovery, refugee cause, and funeral I can find.
And then, when the day is done and midnight is fast approaching on the water, I will set the yacht on fire.
